William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor is the first urban state park and is considered a green oasis in the heart of the city. The park is situated on the Detroit River and provides excellent opportunities for picnics, walks, fishing and much more.

Activities:

Biking: There are plenty of opportunities for biking, walking and rollerblading along the paved trails.

Fishing: There are plenty of opportunities for shoreline fishing in the Detroit River, which is known for walleye.
