The Good Earth Farm is a family owned non-profit organization -Childrens Zoo And Animal Sanctuary ! Home of the Chocolate Chip Animal Rescue, Inc.
We are an Environment for Healing and Animal Assisted Therapy and offer Reiki practitioner services for you and your beloved animals. Our zoo is open every Sunday in the summer months from 4pm to 8 pm. In the fall,winter and spring we open at 10 am to 3 pm The charge is $10 for adults and $12 for children (3months to 90 lbs) They get a pony ride and a hayride! We have a lovely café, gallery and horsey thrift store for you to enjoy. Through summer time we serve dinner with the animals. All the animals can be touched , but not on their faces or butts this is for your own protection.We host a 4-h club for kids 8 and up, if a child is younger they can come with a parent, we work with our llamas and alpacas and with our mini horses. This is a yearly commitment and costs $10 everytime we work with the animals.
Our goal is to prepare the child to go to the fair and show. We do provide workbooks and teach kids to care for our animals.
My little pony class. After school for 1 hour with a mini this is a riding class for kids 3-6 yrs old with a parent. Helmets and boots are required. The monthly fee is $150. Saturday or Sunday mini camps are available all year long ages 7-14. This is agroup English riding class. Tacking, grooming , washing and overall horse care with a book included. The cost is $35 each visit. Beginners are welcome. Helmets, boots and riding pants required.
Private lessons all year long ages 3-15 $55 per hour. Learn to ride English hunt seat at your own pace, one on one, we take you to all of the local shows. We also teach driving, minis and larger horses! Helmets, boots and riding pants are required. Incredible field trip alert! We offer two hour hands on educational workshops on our farm taught by a certified teacher with 2 masters degrees in education. Our mission is to inform the public about animal neglect and abuse and hopefully change the way people treat animals and the environment.
Are you studying the farm , animals, plants or the environment? If you are. then this program is for you! We have over 100 animals to love. These animals come to us because they have been badly abused, sick or neglected or are really old and have no where else to go. We fix them up and then invite you to come and love them like we do.
Learning touching grooming feeding and talking to all kinds of exotic animals seems to make kids of all ages very happy, caring, kind and giving human beings. This program is designed for pre-k to grade 5.
We customize our programs for all special needs groups as well. We have 2 packages for you to choose from
1. pony rides, petting zoo , horse 101 learning workshop, and square dance if we have time $10 each child adults free. Min 20 kids max 50kids
2. petting zoo horse 101 learning workshop, and square dance $5 each kid min 30 kids max 60... adults are free.
Its always good to bring your water and lunch with you to eat under our covered barn. We serve ice cream and drinks for purchase.call and make a reservation.
