About Us:

Connecticut’s finest new art gallery is a century-old ‘worn with time’ historic space nestled within Southport’s picturesque village. Enhancing its bustling New England harbor, antebellum Greek revival captains’ houses, and quaint village of antique shops, Southport Galleries rejuvenates and re-vitalizes the vintaged Harris Hardware store. Patiently restored and transformed the 1700 sq. foot space elegantly re-purposes the original wainscoting, tin ceiling, and roughly-hewn hardware store counter tops and shelving units. Yesteryear’s craftsmanship is now a showcase for important fine art as past and present define the graceful lifestyles of our discerning clientele


Presenting a selection of enduring American Masters and exciting Contemporary artists, we invite new clients and seasoned connoisseurs to explore the values of fine art collecting. With professional judgment, we offer our community unique access to our art world networks with authoritative advisory services for: appraisals, estates, conservation, and curatorial research. A portion of all proceeds go to support the Pequot Library and the Fairfield History Museum.
