About Us:

It all started back in 1999, when a few Hanover area natives founded the Hanover Area Parrothead Club. The love of Jimmy Buffett and his music brought us together from Wisconsin, Indiana, New York, New Oxford and of course Hanover.

Hanging together at club functions lead us to vacationing together in OBX. As the homebrew beers flowed, so did ideas of Bill and Steve's Bar, a tropical island bar that was the last stop before heading back to the cruise ship.

The purchase of a 130 year old abandoned building in the heart of downtown Hanover in 2012 was not quite the beachfront property Bill and Steve had in mind - but what the heck, lets make it into a brewery instead!

After three years of blood, sweat and beers, Something Wicked Brewing Company opened its doors to the public on June 5, 2015.

Our partnership is as varied as our birthplaces with everyone bringing their talents to the mix: engineers, designers, managers, and retired military. But its our love of great craft beer that is the common passion of all of us.
