Gardner House Museum

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Heritage Seekers is to collect and preserve information pertaining to interesting historical events of the Palmyra area, to assume responsibility for proper recognition, acquisition, and preservation of historical landmarks, relics, souvenirs, and Missouriana; to do suitable honor to those hardy pioneers of this area who laid the foundation of our present happiness by arranging and promulgating anniversary celebrations and meetings in their memory and to engender rightful pride in the rich history of the Palmyra area.

The Heritage Seekers also maintain the Gardner House Museum.
