Chipola Center for the Arts

Mission:

The Fine and Performing Arts Department of Chipola College seeks to heighten awareness and appreciation of the fine and performing arts among its students, faculty, staff and the community, and to provide a solid educational foundation for students pursuing careers in music, art, and theatre. It does so in a belief that the arts are essential to the learning experience, to fostering self-expression and creativity, and to celebrating the cultural heritage of past, present and future generations.

Goals:

The primary goal of Chipola College is to offer artistic, musical, and theatrical experiences to all students so that they may develop a lifetime involvement in the arts and to prepare students for careers in art, music, and theatre.

A secondary goal is to support the cultural life of Chipola's servicing district by producing or sponsoring fine and performing art programs.
