Learn Strategies to Maintain Your Brain

Posted on 08/31/23 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP Iowa and the Alzheimer’s Association are traveling around the state this fall to educate Iowans about steps they can take to help maintain cognitive health.

The tour kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and will include 12 stops throughout that month.

The free workshops will include information on strategies to support cognitive health and AARP’s Six Pillars of Brain Health: being social, engaging your brain, managing stress, exercising, getting restorative sleep and eating right.

Go to aarp.org/IAevents to see the full schedule of tour stops and to register.
