Over the past few months, we have been preparing our home for visitors, whether for the holidays or the upcoming Super Bowl. Part of preparing for visitors is cleaning your house. The cleaning products you use can end up in the environment, whether they're used outside, rinsed down the drain or evaporated into the air. Some ingredients used in cleaning products can impact the environment.
Join the NC Cooperative Extension, Person County Center to learn the difference between cleaning and sanitizing, which cleaners are effective, and how to make your own green cleaning recipes. Green cleaning is a great way to reduce VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the home and save some money!
