Help Older Adults in Your Community

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide the nation's largest free tax assistance and preparation service and provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped over 80 million taxpayers receive all the credits and deductions they're entitled to. 

Every year, from early February to mid-April, our volunteers take appointments at almost 3,500 locations around the country. AARP Tax-Aide volunteers help older adults keep more of the money they’ve earned. As a Tax-Aide volunteer, you’ll receive free training, flexible hours, and ongoing support — and the fulfillment that comes from helping your neighbors.
