Cycle Thursdays are back and better than ever! Cycling can be a great low impact exercise to keep our bodies moving. Join AARP Colorado’s New 50+ Ambassadors for Cycle Thursdays, casual fun bike rides around Denver.

Our first Cycle Thursday, May 23, 2024, will kick off at Washington Park, a perfect ride to get us started. We will then go on a road/trail ride with the Cherry Creek Trail, followed by a ride to Cook Park. We start each session with a cycling tip conversation, enjoy a great ride, and then gather for some snacks/drinks and conversation afterward. You can learn more about what AARP is doing in your community!

AARP realizes that healthy habits, including exercise and eating right, can lead to a better, longer, happier life. Are you new to cycling? Or maybe just getting back into cycling or maybe you ride daily? Wherever you are at, Cycle Thursdays has something for everyone!. Come join like-minded folks, get a good ride in and have some fun!

Please bring a helmet, water, sunscreen and make sure your bike is safe to ride. Remember this is a ride, not a race. No one will be left behind. Ride as much or as little as you are comfortable.
