About the Event
23rd annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival
Kick off the holiday season and Downtown in December at the 23rd annual Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival presented by Heartland! One of the season’s most anticipated events, the festival will take place in Bricktown.
The free festival will include family-friendly activities such as photos with Santa Claus sponsored by Inasmuch Foundation, face painting, OKC Thunder entertainers, a life-size holiday snow globe from Bublee Pop, and more. Bring your kiddos to the Letters to Santa station sponsored by Communication Federal Credit Union, where they can write and place their letters to Santa in our North Pole mailbox, as well as decorate downtown-themed holiday postcards to take home or mail. There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy, from Junction Coffee hot chocolate and ballpark snacks for purchase to free treats from Bricktown businesses. The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor David Holt.
The Bricktown Christmas Tree will be lit at approximately 6:00pm and will be on display through Christmas Day.
We want to hear from you if you have an event to share or updates to this event.
