About the Event
The popular Zumba workout, which puts a mix of high- and lower-intensity dance moves to Latin and World beats, has been modified in Zumba Gold classes to provide a less intensive, more joint-friendly dance workout for older adults - without sacrificing any of the fun.
This class, part of a series taught by Charlotte, N.C., fitness instructor Elizabeth Moakler, will get you moving to the Zumba rhythms and explore the connection between dance and a healthy brain.
In addition to delivering cardiovascular and muscle-strengthening benefits and supporting weight loss, regular aerobic exercise has been shown to contribute to brain health and aid memory and focus. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
