Fight Fraud, Shred Instead
AARP Delaware is hosting a free shredding event in Claymont on June 8 in collaboration with the Claymont Community Center The event is part of AARP Fraud Watch Network efforts statewide. Shredding old bank statements, credit card bills, Medicare cards and anything else with personal information on it is the best thing consumers can do to prevent identity theft. Attendees will receive AARP fraud information and giveaway items. There is a 3-box limit per car. Registration is limited to the first 250 registered.
