AARP Long Island is gearing up to offer more events, activities, and programs across the island and we need your help at our AARP Long Island Volunteer Township Teams!
If you’re interested in finding out what AARP Long Island has to offer, please visit us at one of our volunteer monthly meetings, near where you live. You’ll be welcomed by a variety of lead volunteers representing the different volunteer opportunities - in the area of advocacy, community outreach and special events - who can share their experiences with you. You can listen, ask questions, and engage with other great people just like you.
UPDATE: we are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to step up as Lead Volunteers. As a Lead Volunteer, you’ll play a critical role in guiding and inspiring others in advocacy, helping organize outreach activities within your community, and ensuring that our event initiatives run smoothly and effectively. You’ll have the chance to take your involvement to the next level, while also gaining valuable leadership experience that can have a lasting impact.
