Since then, the idea has expanded into a profitable outlet for local and small family farmers, entrepreneurs, and artisans, promoting and encouraging the importance of preserving family farms, small businesses, and area agriculture.

The Wilmot Farmers Market has become a community hub filled with sights, sounds, and tastes that nourish, please, and entertain the entire family. Residents and visitors return week after week, season after season, to purchase directly from farmers and producers; greet old friends; enjoy a hot breakfast or lunch; and listen to music on the bandstand featuring talented area musicians.
