Wild Turkey Trace was originally opened in 1966 under the name Bob-O-Link. In 2007 ownership changed, the course underwent significant renovations, and in 2008 the name was changed to Wild Turkey Trace.
The course is 18 holes, par 71, and open to the public. The greens are Bent grass, and the fairways Bermuda. On many holes water comes into play in the form of creeks, ponds, and lakes. There are a total of 11 sand bunkers on the course as well. Five sets of tee markers make the course appropriate for golfers of all levels. From the tips the course plays 6400 yards, and from the ladies’ tees, 4800.
The course is open year round. Tee times are recommended on the weekends from April-October. Wild Turkey Trace is located in Lawrenceburg, in the heart of central Kentucky just minutes from the state capital of Frankfort.
