Restaurateur's born from a Boulder Landmark as familiar as CU, a brew master with a select passion for Belgian style brewing and a charismatic chef with local food knowledge, food source ethics & integrity and a flare for combing unique flavors to create amazing custom dishes have come together under one roof to bring a world class restaurant / brew pub to Boulders world famous Pearl Street Mall.
Mark and Chris Heinritz, owners of World Famous Sink Restaurant and Bar "On The Hill", bring their 20+ years of restaurant experience and their passion for good food and top notch service to create a brew pub that's more than a tap room and a restaurant that's more than just burgers and fries.
Bryan Lutz, our Brew Master, was first exposed to brewing as a teenager in Germany while participating in an international exchange program. Brewing became a growing passion in his life and Brian, as a result of those circumstances that bring all of us to Boulder, ended up here and began brewing at home. His passion exploded and soon he was working in the industry. Coming from Red Fish Brewery and Oscar Blues he jumped at the chance to explore his passion for Belgian style brewing at West Flanders. Today we get to experience his passion in the World Class brewing done on site.
Chef Anthony Hessel, the renown Chef that put the Med and Brasserie 1010 on the map, brings his 20+ years of experience to West Flanders to create a menu that compliments our brewery efforts with unique dishes bursting with amazing flavor's. Chef Hessel has a passion for creating dishes from locally sourced foods and from farms with a proven ethical treatment of their land, animals and the environment.
