The West End Farmers' Market will grow as a thriving community institution by providing a vibrant marketplace for local products for the mutual benefit of its customers and CT famers and artisans.  The market will diversify with new vendors, customers, and increased financial support from community members through the Ambassadors giving and outreach program.  Increased revenue and community investment will transition the market to a new level of institutional stability.  The growing budget will enable the market to create a competitive and fun employment opportunity in the neighborhood to manage the work of organizing the market.  This increased labor capacity will manifest with more and better events and music, a stronger marketing effort, and strengthened partnerships with other institutions in the West End.  Other benefits will include increased food security, educational opportunities for customers about local food and economies, and stronger social fabric.  Additionally, the market seeks to increase the level of volunteer participation of West End residents to accomplish the work at hand, build greater investment in the success of the market, and increase neighborhood ownership.
