Waggy World Paw Park is managed by the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department. With the support of the City's elected and appointed officials, and the dedication of local volunteers, the Department set aside a beautiful 1.5 acre area behind the Alpharetta Community Center at Wills Park to provide this popular amenity for the citizens and pups of Alpharetta. Â
Mission:
- To provide a fenced in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise, frolic, and play in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property, or wildlife; to maintain an attractive space open to all dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park's rules and regulations; and to satisfy the needs of both dog owners and non-dog owners.
Benefits:
- Allow dogs to exercise and socialize safely
- Promotes responsible dog ownership
- Provides an outlet for dog owners to socialize
- Makes for a better community by promoting public health and safety
