Their newest venture is  Veracious Brewing Company which opened on June 8th, 2015 and is located adjacent to Maltose Express at 246 Main Street in Monroe Ct.   Their goal is to brew world class beers for local people.   The name Veracious refers to the brewery's mission to produce honest, well-crafted beers made with quality ingredients.

The Veracious taproom was designed and built with the inviting comfortable feel of an English pub. The wood used to make the taproom bar, tables, beer rail and to line two of the walls of the room was re-purposed from church pews from a New Canaan church. The red-oak from the seats of the church pews gives the brewery its unique character.   The bar, long tables, wall rail and entrance beams were built from the hard maple from the back of the church pews.

The breweries goal is to produce clean. well balanced exceptional beers.

From the taproom you can look through windows to the open, clean and brightly colored brew-house.

Veracious features four flagship beers; an American Pale ale, a Sweet Stout, an English-style session ale and an American IPA.

The brewery's rotating beers include an Imperial Red Ale, a Saison with honey and spices, an English Bitter, a Robust Porter, a Black IPA, a Double Brown Ale, a Watermelon Wheat ale, a Blueberry Wheat ale and a specialty series known as the LOVE series which will include five different versions of the same imperial stout.

In addition to beer  Veracious offers eight wines and cold brew coffee from a nitro tap that pours like Guinness into a goblet glass.
