Neatly tucked into a bend in the Roanoke River a few miles south of the Highway 258 bridge and eight miles east of Scotland Neck is the Ventosa Plantation Vineyard and Winery, offering a new kind of tradtional "Southern Wine".

Ventosa Plantation's beautiful Muscadine vineyards are located in rural Halifax County. Bounded by the Roanoke River, this generations-old farm is proud of its' new winery owned and operated by father and son team Alex Jr. and Alex III. They have developed unique Magnolia, Noble, and Carlos wines that are light, crisp and pleasing to the palate.
