Course Information
With three classic 9 hole layouts that can be played in different 18 hole rotations, Valley Oaks Golf Course provides great golf at a great value. Set amongst age-old native oak, eucalyptus, and tall pine trees, the three nines meander through a gorgeous setting and provide a great test of golf for players of all abilities. The two original nines, the Valley and the Oaks, are traditional in their design, while the newest nine, the Lakes, is a more modern links style layout.
The Valley Course is defined by a classic narrow, tree-lined layout. All of the putting surfaces slope gently towards the fairways, and have strategically placed bunkers guarding the hole locations. Hole number 4 is a classic par 4, measuring 398 yards from the back tee. Water demands a straight tee shot, coming into play at 230 yards both right and left, and again on your approach shot to the most sloping green on the course. The toughest hole may be the 7th, a 200 yard par 3. The tee shot must avoid the bunkers right and left, and be played to the correct distance as the 45 foot long green can leave quite a challenge to shots either long or short of the pin. Number 8 is a devilish 400 yard par 4 that doglegs to the left. With a tree lined fairway and OB right, you must hit a good drive in order to reach the green safely. The Valley Course is a delight to play, and with its tree lined fairways, a true test of accuracy and placement.
