TCIA History:

Thomas Creek Ice Arena (TCIA) opened it's doors in January of 1989. It's steady growth can be attributed to the increased popularity of ice hockey, figure skating, and recreational skating. TCIA is the home of Perinton Youth Hockey which has experienced great success and growth since it's inception in 1989. The rink has several well established programs...

The facility has experienced much change over the years. A second ice surface was added in 1995 which made the two 200 x 85 feet sheets of the ice the two largest in Western New York. New and improved facilities and services have been added to serve our customers. Our Sports Bar - Section 14 overlooks both ice surfaces and provides our customers with a relaxing environment. TCIA's snack bar offers a Full menu of great eats and quality service. Our new and expanded full service Pro Shop can satisfy all your hockey and figure skating needs from protective equipment,  sticks, accessories, figure skating apparel, skates to quality services such as expert skate sharpening & skate mounting and repairs.

In the summer of 2001, the TCIA Sports Bar took on a new look. We moved the bar itself to create more space for our valued customers. The second stage of the Sports Bar project is to erect a folding wall, so when there is a private party the bar area isn't too crowded. In the winter of 2008, the Sports Bar upgraded yet again with four state of the art HD TVs. Please keep posted for any further changes that will improve the quality of service at Thomas Creek Ice Arena.
