Theatre Outlet is dedicated to producing vibrant and vital multicultural and multidisciplinary arts in an intimate setting. We use our resources to encourage the dynamic expression of art within our community by cultivating artists and engaging patrons.

Theatre Outlet was conceived as an outlet for writers, directors, performers and designers to gather and create new approaches to art and life. It has been uniquely inclusive of the many diverse communities that populate the city of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Outlet’s work is produced by theatre professionals interacting with community artists to produce contemporary premieres of important Off-Broadway projects, unique visions of neglected classics, and challenging original plays.

By maintaining an open door, Theatre Outlet serves as a cultural, educational and social resource for the region. This tradition of independent artists making thoughtful, engaging and provocative theatre has been kept alive for more than a decade and a half in the City of Allentown.

Theatre Outlet has established a reputation for experienced, award-winning arts programming. The artistic success of the organization has been well documented, and the company has received two of Allentown’s Arts Ovation Awards.
