The Viking Braggot Company

Daniel McTavish and Addison Stern, two recent graduates from the University of Oregon's Business School, founded Viking Braggot Company. Their passion stemmed from drinking delicious Oregon craft beer, to home brewing their own, to (hopefully) sharing beer with the world! The Viking Braggot Company provides a full line of braggot style ales that are hand crafted with local area honey, organically grown grain, and ancient herbs.

The idea for the brewery was formed over winter break from the UO in 2011. From this point on Addison and Daniel worked on various projects in the business school gaining valuable knowledge of the craft beer industry in Oregon and the nation. Once the founders graduated in June of 2012 they spent the summer looking for a suitable building and making connections. In December of 2012 they signed the lease for the 520 Commercial location and truly began the journey of opening Eugene's only Braggot Brewery!
