About Us:

The Stanley Theater was built in 1936. Remaining in business through many different owners, it still runs today. The Eslingers purchased the theater in 1969 and have been running it for the last 36 years.

The Stanley Theater fosters the nostalgia of theaters of the past. It's beautiful 11' canopy demand attention over main street. For the art lovers, the theater has many old fixtures and themes reminiscent of the art deco period.

There is only one screen with one movie to choose from each week. But not to disappoint, the theater holds 426 patrons and the screen is 13' by 36' making for a great viewing experience.

Since the theater building was built in 1936, we do our best to update and improve the structure. Recently, we put on a new roof, hung a new screen and repainted the inside to reflect the original art deco designs.

In the next couple of months we hope to rebuild the bathrooms, concession stand, and lay new carpet throughout.

Below are before and after pictures of our restorative efforts last year.

The theater is still a historical building filled with many memories and more to come.
