The Good Beer Company

309 West Fourth Street
Santa Ana, CA 92701

Mission:
is to be Downtown Santa Ana's craft brewery. We brew, ferment, and hand package every batch with the utmost care to share with our community. Our tasting room serves as a beautiful place to share experiences with your family and friends. Our community, our supporters, craft beer enthusiasts - you deserve recognition for making this all possible. And because the community is so important to us, it is Good Beer's mission to connect craft beer with the Downtown Santa Ana community. We seek to be a socially responsible craft brewery in support of our beautiful Downtown so that, like us, generations of the future can enjoy the experience and explore our Downtown, too.

About:
The brewery in Downtown Santa Ana features a 15-barrel copper clad JV Northwest brewhouse that was originally built in the early 1990's. According to legend, the brewhouse was built for a brewery called Hops in La Jolla and had a brief run at the Mission Brewing Company in San Diego before we purchased it and installed it in Santa Ana.

Batches of beer are fermented in four stainless steel conical fermentation vessels, also believed to be of early 1990's construction. One of our conical vessels, affectionately nicknamed "Lefty," serves as our wild fermentation tank. We have a fleet of French oak barrels that formerly aged red wine, which, over time, will receive doses of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus

As a patron of the tasting room, you are encouraged to say hello to the brewmaster and ask questions about the equipment or brewing process.
