Tartan Pines Golf Club features a course that provides challenges for the most advanced golfers while still being enjoyable for the novice golfer. The tree-lined fairways provide generous landing areas, but an accurate tee shot is the key to setting up your approach shot. Our receptive greens feature TifEagle bermudagrass with large undulations on many holes.
The front nine is the easier of the two nines. It features wide fairways with few hazards to navigate on your way to the green. Hole 6 is a dog leg left par 4 that measures 418 yards from the championship tees. The tee shot places an emphasis on accuracy with a group of tall pines and mounds lining the right side of the fairway. The approach is downhill to a sloping green protected by a bunker left and hazard on the right.Â
The back nine is by far the more challenging of the nines. Each tee shot on the back must find the fairway as there is hazard on every hole. The approach on every hole is treacherous as flat lies are rare and each green is protected by hazards. Hole 12 is a straight away par 4 that measures 476 from the championship tees. The tee shot is uphill to an undulating fairway that slopes toward the middle on both sides. The approach shot is downhill to a large island green with two main levels. Getting the correct yardage is a necessity on this shot as any mistakes could lead to a missed green and taking a drop.
The experience is completed by our friendly and knowlegable staff and our exceptional facilities. The clubhouse is the perfect place to relax and unwind after your round. Our practice facility has everything you need to get your game to the next level.
