Located in Palm Harbor, Florida, our golf course borders the Brooker Creek Preserve. As a result, this scenic 18-hole public golf course features an abundance of wildlife including deer, gators, turkey, coyotes, otters and exotic birds for you to enjoy as you play. In 2009, Tarpon Woods GC underwent an extensive renovation and all bunkers, tees and greens were beautifully redesigned. In addition, the golf course offers a driving range, short game area and a putting green to sharpen your skills. For extra help on your game, lessons are available from the PGA golf professionals on our staff.
The latest addition to Tarpon Woods Golf Club is a Beef 'O'Brady's Restaurant. This is the first Beef's located at a golf course and Tarpon Woods is delighted to have their staff and delicious menu on-hand! They are open during season at 7 a.m. with light fare available with the lunch menu available at 11 a.m. After your round, join us for dinner the kitchen is open until 11 p.m.
Tarpon Woods Golf Club is recently under the new ownership of Bobby Jacobsen. Bobby Jacobsen is also the CEO of Jacobsen Homes, a very successful mobile and modular home building factory located in Safety Harbor, Fla. Mr. Jacobsen strives to deliver the most assuring, quality product in that business and has had great success in doing so. He intends to do the same with Tarpon Woods. He has brought in Hampton Golf to manage the course, which is a management company well-known for their ability in operating golf clubs throughout the United States. Tarpon Woods was once considered a top-of-the-line golf course and Mr. Jacobsen intends on restoring that reputation.
