Tanglewood Resort Golf Course

Play a round at Tanglewood's private 18-hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and renowned architect Ralph Plummer. This 7,000-yard course featurescontentimage_golf6_H.jpg challenging sand bunkers, lush Bermuda fairways and a complete practice facility.

Tanglewood became the first regulation golf course in the country to install an eco-friendly Zoyzia grass hybrid, Diamond Soyzia. Tanglewood teamed up with Dr. Milton Engleke and his team at Texas A&M to create this Diamond Soyzia that thrives in the Texas summer heat and usual low rainfall.  Tanglewood's championship course is one of the states finest year around.

Tanglewood is the site of many tournaments, like the Pepsi Cola Invitational held each spring. This premier golf tournament hosts Big 10, Big 12 and Big West teams.
