Stubborn Beauty Brewing

We made our first homebrew on a cold february day in 2009.  a spectacular imperial ipa dripping with columbus hops.  we named this beer "nummy nummy" and it was, well...nummy nummy and i think we all knew we were onto something.

Since then we've continued to brew at a torrid pace gaining a few accolades along the way.  in 2009 we received 3rd place in the best of show round in the homebrewtalk.com homebrewing contest (300+ entries) with an imperial porter called "porter justice".

In 2010 we entered the samuel adams longshot homebrewing contest along with a couple thousand other people. we received an excellent score of 41.5 from the bjcp judges for our rye imperial ipa called "golden boy".

Mmost recently we took first in the best of show round of the 2011 homebrewtalk.com homebrewing contest (400+ entries) with our rye saison named "how rye i am".  can you tell we have a little rye fetish here?  good
