"It’s important for my customers to know about the options in framing, and I love to explain the products to people," says Stephanie Helms, owner of Stephanie’s Custom Framing & Gallery located in Doctor's Inlet. With over 27 years in the framing industry, Stephanie offers the knowledge her experience brings to each individual customer. Her shop is one that prides itself in customer communication.

"With the right framer, customers should always feel confident that their artwork is receiving the proper treatment for conservation," Stephanie says.

The framing industry has come a long way and Stephanie’s shop is proud to offer the best products to its customers. Stephanie says most projects she frames use one of the many types of UV-filtered glass to prevent fading. The shop only carries acid-free mat board and always recommends framing that will not damage the artwork.
