About Us:

This 320-acre park features trails for walking, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding as well as a 3-acre lagoon for summer swimming, and a 72-acre lake for boating and fishing. Amenities also include a 31-site campground, picnic areas with barbecues, a par course, and the Environmental Discovery Center .

The Lakeside Grill , a seasonal cafe at the swimming lagoon, features a cook-to-order menu, bistro seating on the beach, wine and beer service, and kayak and paddleboat rentals.

Trails
With nearly 10 miles of trails, Spring Lake is a favorite destination for hiking, running, biking and horseback riding. Trails include an easy paved route around the lake and connections to Trione-Annadel State Park and the city of Santa Rosa's Howarth Park.

Camping
Spring Lake's campground welcomes tent, trailer, and RV campers year-round and features several sleeping cabins.

Boating
Spring Lake is a 72-acre reservoir open for boating (electric engines only) and paddling. A year-round boat ramp is located at the end of the park's Newanga Avenue entrance. Boat rentals - kayaks, paddleboards, pedal boats and canoes - are available via the park's Violetti Road entrance from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The last rental is at 5 p.m.

Swimming
Spring Lake's swimming lagoon is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and features a floating, inflatable water park as well as areas for recreational swimming and sunbathing.

Boating and Paddling
Spring Lake is a 72-acre reservoir open for boating (electric motors only) and paddling. A year-round boat ramp is accessed from the Newanga Avenue entrance. Kayak, canoe, paddle board, and pedal boat rentals are available daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day near the swimming lagoon at the Violetti Road entrance. Rental hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with the last rental at 5 p.m.) Rates start at $12 an hour.

Fishing
Large-mouth bass, sunfish and catfish can be caught year-round at Spring Lake. A California fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, fishing poles and bait are available for rent/purchase from the concession stand near the swimming lagoon.

Picnics
Spring Lake offers numerous picnic tables with barbecue grills throughout the park as well as five group picnic areas available for reservation at (707) 565-2041.
