Swim, fish, or boat the waters of Split Rock Lake,the largest body of water in Pipestone County. The lake is the predominant feature of this park. Stop by the Beach Side Trail Center for an excellent vista and to discover more about the area. Seven miles north of the park is the famous Pipestone National Monument.

Drive-in Sites 34 Sites
Nicely shaded sites located off hard-surfaced campground road. Campground adjacent to Split Rock Lake.

Electric Sites 21 Sites
One of the electric sites is wheelchair accessible.

RV Length Limit 52 Feet
Length is measured from front of tow vehicle to rear of vehicle being towed.

Wheelchair Accessible Sites 1 Site
This is an electric site located adjacent to wheelchair accessible showers and toilets.

Group Camp 1 Site - Accommodates up to 75 people
Sites are shaded and include fire rings, picnic tables, running water, and vault toilets. Tents only.

Summer

Wheelchair Accessible .5 Miles
Trail begins at beach area, winds through picnic grounds and across the dam.

Self Guided 2.5 miles
Trail begins in the campground. NOTE: parts of the trail are in rehabilitation, although hikeable.

Hiking 4.5 Miles
Trail begins at the campgrounds.

Horse 4.5 miles
Trail head and staging area on the South end of the park with parking, hitching rail and picnic tables.
