Since 1978, Shank’s Mare has offered a wide variety of services for everyone with an active lifestyle. We have our Go Play Outside Clothing and Gear, Shank’s Mare Outfitters retail store, Outdoor Education Center featuring a full schedule of activities, The Rookery Meeting Facility and the Lock 2 Cafe serving light food, coffee, and ice cream. Our goal at Shank’s Mare is spotlight the cultural, environmental and outdoor recreation opportunities in our area, and for you to Go Play Outside!
