Mission

The mission of the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation is to encourage, promote and support the arts for the community.

Fine art, music, food, and wine come together every year along the scenic Sausalito Waterfront for one of the premier art festivals in the Country. One of the oldest, most prestigious open-air art events, the Sausalito Art Festival attracts art aficionados and collectors from around the world and continues to set the standard for quality, variety, innovation and sheer scope of art on display as well as for a celebrated entertainment line-up and special exhibits.

The 62nd Annual Festival will be held Labor Day Weekend, August 30 – September 1, 2014. The Sausalito Art Festival brings together a fabulous collection of art, music and fun to the beautiful setting of Sausalito, annually Labor Day weekend. The Sausalito Art Festival Foundation offers scholarships to art students around the the Bay Area, and encourages the artistic culture to continue and thrive within the community. The legacy built through our 60 year history has allowed the Art Festival to be recognized as one of the best art festivals in the nation and continue to host a spectacular event every year.

Along with the annual Art Festival: we also host a night of Jazz by the Bay, participate in the Caledonia Street Festival and in the Fourth of July Parade.
