The Santa Fe Trail is a 4.1-mile long paved pathway that spans between Downtown Dallas and White Rock Lake in the heart of Dallas, Texas. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad corridor and travels past historic neighborhoods and local parks.
The trail is used by those commuting into the Downtown Area and it also is a section of a trail system that extends as far north as Spring Valley Road on the north edge of Dallas. This trail system consists of the White Rock Lake Trail, the White Rock Creek Trail and the Cottonwood Trail.
