Sage Hill Vineyard & Winery is a small family-operated vineyard and winery located in Dundy County, Nebraska. Established in 2003 on 16 acres overlooking Rock Creek, Sage Hill began with the planting of 960 French Hybrid varietal wine grapes on property historically referred to as the Ewing Place. The land was purchased from Tecker Ranch and has been a family effort from day one. Hal and Carol Walker designed, built, and continue to develop this enterprise into a functioning winery destination in southwest Nebraska.

As a family business, all members of the family are involved. Hal's mother, Mildred Walker, and aunt, Dorothy Johnston have generously offered beautiful watercolor paintings that grace our labels. Daughters, Morgan and Taylor have also designed labels for Sage Hill.
