Mission:
The Roswell Fine Arts Alliance started in 1971 in an old barn, followed by meetings in numerous homes provided by hospitable members. We now have a beautiful permanent home provided by the City of Roswell at 9100 Fouts Road on the East Roswell Park and Recreation campus. As a recognized affiliate within the City of Roswell Parks and Recreation department, and a 501c3 organization, RFAA will continue to enrich art engagement for our artists and our community.
Our Mission is to support our artists by:
- Increasing awareness of educational opportunities for encouragement and motivation
- Improving communication between members by working, sharing ideas, and building a sense of ownership, commitment and excitement together
- Providing exhibition and competition opportunities
- Providing opportunities for direct sales of our art through our in-house gallery and outside venues
- Promoting and supporting our personal creative growth by sponsoring demonstrations, workshops, and classes
- Extending our prestige and reach by including outside artists and art groups in (some of) our shows, workshops and competitions.
- Encouraging young and emerging artists in pursuit of their education and growth
- Providing philanthropic assistance to worthy non-profit organizations
We envision the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance to be a major asset to our members and to the City of Roswell as the premier artists’ resource for Roswell and adjacent North Metro Atlanta communities.
