Find first-rate, year-round recreation at this northern Utah destination. During summer, fish, boat, and water ski on Rockport Reservoir. Tent or RV camp in one of five developed and primitive campgrounds. During winter, ice fish and access nearby snowmobile trails.

Rockport State Park is dedicated to offering many recreational opportunities to anyone and everyone. The launch ramp on the east side of the reservoir is a great place to launch a boat. Rockport Reservoir has good fishing for both trout and bass, and in the summer it is a busy lake with many people tubing, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. There are also over a hundred campsites available for camping year round.
It opened to the public as a state park in 1966.

Many species of animals also call Rockport home including mule deer, chipmunks, jackrabbits, cottontails, yellowbelly marmots, badgers, raccoons, weasels, fox and Uinta ground squirrels. Elk, moose, coyotes, bobcats and cougars live in the area, but are they seldom seen.
