History:

The Barkham family established Rochester Cider mill in 1981.  The Barkham family has been producing cider in the Rochester area for several generations.  Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and core family pitched in to make the best cider and donuts in the region.  Using local Michigan apples fresh from the orchard and selecting the best aromatic varieties (sequentially ripening) they blend a crafted cider that is as rich as their roots.  The cider is never the same from week to week, except for its excellent flavor and taste.  There are no preservatives and it is not pasteurized.  It is truly a unique and pleasant tasting experience even for the most delicate of pallets.  Aside from the amazing cider, the Rochester Cider mill only uses the best Michigan ingredients for our donuts, caramel apples and fudge.  The Caramel is handmade with Michigan sugar, butter, and molasses.  Our pies are baked fresh everyday and our apple crisp is homemade.
