River Pointe Golf Club, the fastest growing golf club in South Georgia. River Pointe is a semi-private 18 hole golf course, located on the historic Flint River and lake Chehaw in Albany Georgia. The course was designed and built in 1995 by renowned golf course architect Mike Young. This challenging course has been recognized by Atlanta Golf Magazine as one of the top courses to play and was voted "BEST OF THE BEST" golf course in the Albany area for the past four years. River Pointe's PGA head pro Sonny Skinner was awarded 2009 National PGA Professional Player of the Year and 2010 PGA Senior Professional Player of the Year. Our beautiful clubhouse has become a community center for the Albany area where people come together for charitable events, weddings and celebrations. The Restaurant is open to the public and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We invite you to come out on Friday Night for Dinner and Dancing, or sample our Chef's creations on the Sunday Buffet.
