History of the Apple Orchard and Farm Market

-1927- W.T. bought 140 acres

-1954- Marvin & Elvin bought 40 acres from W.T.

-1965- First trees planted on south of Ellijay1966- First trees planted on 282, current location

-1969- Bought 200 acres from the Logan family

-1971- Built the 20x20 apple barn (center part now)

-1977- Built on to the back part of the Apple Barn

-1979- New orchard set on top of mountain

-1993- Built on the front part of the Apple Barn (east end)

-1994- New orchard behind Pop's house

-2002- New orchard out from Barry's house

-2005- Built on the front part of the Apple Barn (west end)

-2010- U-Pick is started

-2011- 40 Years of the Red Apple Barn

-2012- New pumpkin patch and restroom facilities

-2013- The Orchard Barn...Event and Wedding Venue is opened.

-2014- New Cameo, Pink Lady, Pritchett Golden Orchard planted.

-2015- Orchard Expansion on top of the Mountain, New shed on the creek

-2016- Planted Crimson Crisp, Wine Crisp trees, Upgraded Orchard Barn Venue
