RainSong is a small family- operated vineyard and winery owned by Mike and Merry Fix.  After serious searching for several years, we purchased 55 acres in this isolated valley in 1984.  The site is comprised of a wonderful combination of meadow, pond, and woodland with a gentle southeastern slope.  We have fine grape growing soil, Bellpine, and our elevation ranges from 500 to 800 feet.We began planting the vineyard in 1985.  We now have 9 acres of vines,6 of which are Pinot Noir, with the remaining acreage in Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.In 1988 we built a small winery at the bottom of the vineyard.Our operation at RainSong is small, even by Oregon standards.
