Plentywood Golf Club

The Beautiful nine hole golf course with its lush grass greens and sprawling green fairways at the north edge of Plentywood, had its second birthday on August 3rd 1977.  It is a source of pride and accomplishment to our entire community.  However, the Plentywood Golf Course has a far more extensive history than these two years.  It has simply had a recent and successful face lifting.

The original idea was born over a half century ago.  It was in 1927 when the first golf club was formed by 26 men with a dream.  That dream became a reality in 1928 when the course was completed and play began.  The following list of charter members in 1927 will revive memories to many of legendary citizens of a young Plentywood, destined to become the modern "Town of Tomorrow".
