Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival

Thomasville, GA 31799

229-226-0588

History:

The brainchild of Robert P. Crozer and Margo Bindhardt, the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival was inspired by the history of Thomasville, Georgia’s vibrant plantation community. Throughout the ante- and post-bellum periods, sporting and wildlife artists enjoyed the patronage of Thomasville’s plantation families, often journeying to the plantations to observe wildlife, enjoy the sporting culture, and practice their craft. The Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival was designed and drawn from Thomasville’s cultural history to match the tastes and needs of great wildlife art collectors with the best artists working today.
