Huge concerts, exciting shows and the biggest musical artists: Catch them all at The Pennysaver Amphitheater! The Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill, formerly known as the Brookhaven Amphitheater, is an outdoor concert venue operated by Long Island Events, LLC. This showground is located in Farmingville, New York, just 1 mile off of exit 63 of the Long Island Expressway. It contains approximately 3000 seats and vast lawn seating for over 6500.
Thousands of outdoor concerts have been held at Bald Hill for almost 50 years, since 1965. The current amphitheater, however, was built in the late 1980s, at the former site of the Bald Hill Ski Bowl. The Pennysaver Amphitheater is a spacious, 20-acre outdoor facility that provides ample parking and a stress-free experience for all attendees. Newly renovated concession stands provide easy access to all of your favorite foods and refreshments.
In the past years, The Pennsaver Amphitheater has been home to some of the biggest musical acts in history including Blondie, James Brown, B.B. King, Diana Ross, Pat Benatar, Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick and Twisted Sister. In addition, the theater has hosted many multi-art festivals such as Beatstock, Freedom Fest and Vets Rock, bringing popular contemporary names to Long Island, such as Big Time Rush, Eric Church and Dierks Bentley. Aside from the biggest names in music, the Pennysaver Amphitheater has organized other exciting shows such as the Cole Brothers Circus, Blues Clues Live and many more in order to appeal to every demographic.
The Pennysaver Amphitheater is filled with the spirit of so many celebrated legends, musicians and performers that have taken to the stage and contributed to the rich history of Bald Hill.
