Paraiso Vineyards is owned and managed by three generations of the Smith family, (Rich Smith). The wine at Paraiso Vineyards is produced by Dave Fleming, one of the pioneering winegrape growers of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Their estate vineyard is the first in the region to be SIPTM Certified Sustainable. While the focus is on estate Pinot Noir, Paraiso also produces small lots of Chardonnay, dry Riesling, Syrah and Souzao Port. Additionally, the Paraiso gift boutique offers a unique collection of home and garden décor, and the scenic grounds are the perfect setting for weddings and private parties.

Our Boutique and Tasting Room sits on the edge of the Santa Lucia Bench, in the midst of our estate vineyard. The view of the Salinas Valley is uniquely picturesque, and the atmosphere is classic Smith-family friendly and casual. We are definitely serious about the quality of our wines, but never snobby about it!

Our tasting bar offers samples of the full line of Paraiso wines, which includes a few bottlings that can only be found here. Pinot Noir is our specialty, with Chardonnay, Riesling and Syrah also in the mix. The deck out back is a great place to hang out while tasting and taking in the view, and a stroll in the vineyard just steps away is always a nice way to spend an afternoon.
