The Pahoa Village Museum serves as a lighthouse to humanity by cultivating the spirit of love and connection that is Aloha.  
We belive it is our right and responsibility to care for the life of this land thru direct service.  As a museum we are unique because of our talk-story approach, which honors a diverse range of perspectives, intended to empower active citizens of the planet.  As a cultural institution we recognize that colonial domination is rapidly crumbling and civilization is in need of more sustainable and empowering infrastructure based on  honoring and serving the life instead of exploiting it.  Through an ever-evolving array of diplays, performances, exhibits, and workshops, we are committed to helping light the way for a better humanity by offering progamming rooted in the spirit of Aloha,
