Owasso Community Build Playground is a one-of-a-kind playground located on approximately three acres at the Owasso Sports Complex on east 116 th Street North between Garnett and Mingo Roads.
Families, co-workers, neighbors and friends came together in a weeklong process to create this magnificent structure. Funtastic IslandThe play structure is completely ramped (no steps) so that children of all physical abilities will be able to go from one end to the other stopping in between to enjoy activity boards and play areas. The playground also includes giant slides, spring riders, swings, diggers, etc. A picket fence surrounds the playground with only one entrance and one exit.
Building our playground together fostered unity and pride in our community. Our mission was to provide all ages with a fun, creative and friendly destination; inspired, designed and built by our community. At its completion, the playground was donated to the City of Owasso so that the proper maintenance could be given to keep all equipment up to current safety standards.
